48 Peppa Pig Coloring Pages (Free PDF Printables)

Peppa Pig Coloring Pages

Peppa Pig has been running since 2004 and is now watched in something like 180 countries, which makes it one of the most widely seen pieces of children’s television ever made. The drawing style is a large part of why it travels, flat colour, thick outlines, characters drawn in profile with both eyes on the same side of the head. It’s odd if you look at it directly, and completely unremarkable to a three-year-old.

That same simplicity makes these among the easiest coloring pages on this site for very young children. There are 48 free designs, and the linework is bold and open throughout, with few small areas to catch a shaky hand.

The muddy puddles get five pages, as they should, jumping in them is the show’s single most repeated image, established in the very first episode. Peppa and George are in puddles together, jumping them, splashing in the rain, and splashing on the grass. George appears with Mr Dinosaur in four designs, holding him, hugging him, sitting beside him, and splashing with him, which is about right for a character whose whole personality is that dinosaur.

Beyond that the pages follow ordinary days: Peppa eating at the table, carrying shopping bags, on a swing, playing guitar, reading a newspaper in an armchair, watering a flower, holding a tray, wearing a chef’s hat and a sun hat, waving with her school backpack, and carrying a picnic basket. Mummy Pig features in three, including one hugging George. Suzy Sheep appears once, holding hands with Peppa. Four pages show the whole family together.

Every one of these Peppa Pig coloring pages is free, prints on standard US letter paper, and needs no sign-up. Click any design below to open the full-size PDF.

Who’s Who in These Peppa Pig Coloring Pages

Peppa

In most of the 48 designs. She’s four years old, lives with her family, and the show is built entirely around small domestic events treated as significant, which is a fair description of being four.

George

Peppa’s younger brother, two years old, and appearing in around a dozen pages. He speaks very little and is rarely without his toy dinosaur.

Mr Dinosaur

George’s green toy, and effectively a character in his own right. Four pages here. In the show he gets lost, gets found, and gets carried everywhere in between.

Mummy Pig

Three designs. She works from home on a computer, a detail the show introduced long before it was ordinary.

Suzy Sheep

One design, holding hands with Peppa. Suzy is Peppa’s best friend and has been since the first series.

The whole family

Four group pages. Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, Peppa and George together, plus one deliberately mixed-up family portrait.

Muddy puddles

Five designs. Worth knowing the rule the show established in its first ever episode: if you jump in muddy puddles, you must wear your boots. It’s repeated across two decades of episodes.

Coloring Tips for Peppa Pig Pages

TPeppa is pink, but not one pink. The show uses a mid pink for the body with a slightly deeper tone for the cheeks and inside the ears. Two shades instead of one is the single change that makes these pages look like the show.

Dresses have fixed colours. Peppa’s is red, Mummy Pig’s is orange, George wears blue, and Mr Dinosaur is green. Children who watch the show usually want these exact, and get quite firm about it.

Then print a second copy and break every rule. These pages are simple enough to finish quickly, which makes them ideal for doing twice, once correctly, once in whatever colours a child feels like.

Leave the puddle brown, not black. The splash pages work best with a mid brown in the water and the splash droplets left white. Filling the droplets loses the movement.

Perfect for the youngest colorists. The thick outlines and large flat areas make this one of the most forgiving sets here for a two- or three-year-old still learning to keep inside a line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these Peppa Pig coloring pages really free?

Yes, all 48 are free to download and print. Click any design to open the PDF. No account, no email, no payment.

What age are these suitable for?

Younger than most sets here. The bold outlines and open shapes suit children from around two or three, which matches the show’s own audience. Older children will finish them quickly, though the group family portraits have a bit more to work through.

Is this official Peppa Pig merchandise?

No, these are fan-made coloring pages inspired by the show’s characters and style. They aren’t produced, licensed, or endorsed by Hasbro or Astley Baker Davies. Free for personal and classroom use, not for resale.

Which characters are included?

Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, Suzy Sheep, and Mr Dinosaur, plus family group scenes and one of Peppa with a friend.

Can I use these at a nursery or playgroup?

Yes. They work well as a quiet activity for very young children, and are free for personal, educational, and classroom use.

Can I print more than one copy?

As many as you need.

Why are the characters drawn with both eyes on one side?

It’s a deliberate style choice by the show’s creators, who wanted something that read clearly at small sizes and could be drawn consistently by a large animation team. Characters are shown almost entirely in profile, yet both eyes and both nostrils face the viewer, a convention borrowed loosely from children’s own drawings, where things are drawn as they’re known to be rather than as they’d appear. Most young viewers never notice.

Why does Peppa always wear boots in puddles?

Because the show made it a rule in its first episode in 2004, and has repeated it in dozens since. It’s one of the few pieces of genuine instruction the programme delivers, and enough parents have reported small children insisting on wellingtons before going outside that it appears to have worked.
